Welcome to Petska Racing
The 2011 racing season did not go as we had planned. We only competed in 7 or 8 races last year due to nasty accident at Beaver Dam Raceway. The car got completely destroyed after getting hit by another car and flipped on top of the concrete wall. We did however win a feature the week before that race at Wilmot Raceway on 4th of July weekend! After the crash John Callahan masterfully worked his magic at cutting off the front half of the car and rebuilding it. We got the car back together to race at Plymouth Dirt track. We were lucky enough to have minimal issuses with the rebuilt car and got a good starting position of 3rd for the feature. We worked our way to lead and won the feature on our first night back on the track after the bad crash. We also ran down at Peoria Speedway on Oct 1st in the Mini Sprint Nationals. I was able to lock into the A-main out of my heat race. Which was my main goal with 40 cars being there! I had a shock break during the feature and was not able to get any further forward than 11th.
The 2012 season is right around the corner. Things are coming together well out in the shop! We have a full Schedule of races this year. Hope to see you all out at the track this season!
